In this project, I explored the concept of repetition and transformation through the image of a dog. I began by creating an original image of the dog and then duplicated it multiple times, arranging the pictures in a circular formation. This circular arrangement symbolizes continuity and movement, reflecting the cyclical nature of life and the idea of infinite perspectives.
To further challenge the viewer’s perception, I altered the color of the dog in each image. This shift in color is a representation of change and the potential for reinvention within a singular subject. The process of modifying the artwork was incredibly time-consuming, as it required careful attention to detail and patience to achieve the desired effect. Through this project, I aimed to reflect on how repetition and subtle variations can evoke new meanings and emotions, transforming an everyday subject into something more complex and multifaceted.
